This page says what this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It is written to the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, in force since 1 September 2023.

When you simply read the site
This site uses no analytics or advertising tracking. No application cookies, no advertising or tracking code, no fonts or scripts loaded from anyone else, no embedded maps or videos.
If you choose the light or dark theme with the button at the top of the page, that choice is kept in your own browser's local storage, so that the next page opens the same way. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, its infrastructure sees the technical details of each request — IP address, time, page requested, browser identification — in order to deliver the page and to protect it against abuse. Technical request and failure information may appear in infrastructure logs used to operate and troubleshoot the site. The website records application failures using fixed event categories and random incident identifiers, without adding enquiry contents or raw exception details to those application log entries.
When you write to us
Only what you type into the contact form: name, company, city, country, telephone numbers, email address, instant-messaging handle, subject, message, and any file you choose to attach.
- Why: to answer you and, if a business relationship follows, to open it.
- How it travels: the form sends your message by email to the company's mailbox. Nothing is stored in a database on the website.
- Who else handles it: the providers that carry it — Cloudflare, which runs the site and sends the message, and Apple iCloud, which hosts the company's mailbox. Both may process data outside Switzerland, including in the United States.
- How long it is kept: enquiries are handled case by case. Useful commercial correspondence is retained; general enquiries with no continuing use are deleted. There is no fixed retention period or automatic deletion schedule for contact-form messages.
We never sell it, share it for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to its use. Write to us through the contact form or by post. If you believe your data has been mishandled, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

If what this site collects changes, this page changes first.
